Now it is an age of Big Data and to store, sort or process the same the IT managers will surely need scalable and robust solution. There are many a solution of this can be found on devops training online. However, Hadoop can be considered as one of the most popular ones among them. Different social media companies and other phone companies who need to leverage Big Data need a versatile and robust technical solution which is provided to them by Hadoop.

What is Hadoop?

Hadoop is a framework which is used for the management of open source Big Data. This software is based in JAVA and it has been made by Apache Software Foundation. Hadoop is file system which works as a cross platform and it allows the organizations or the individuals to process and store Big Data in the commodity hardware. It is scalable and it allows the processing for both different data flows and data types and large volume data.

How does automation help IT manage Big Data with Hadoop?

Being a distributed file the MapReduce system and all other data are kept on each machine within Handoop cluster. It creates increased speed of processing and redundancy. In one cluster of Hadoop one machine is called NameNode whereas all the other machines will be designated as DataNode. If you add up more machines you will gain more and more space. If you have multiple machines it will be able to mitigate the failure of one machine easily.

For processing the Data MapReduce is used. It has two components. There is a Job Tracker which will be associated with the MasterNode present in the cluster of Hadoop. The Task Trackers will be associated with the DataNodes. The computing job is split into different components by Job tracker and those will be distributed among the task trackers. Components will be then carried out by Task trackers. The data will be then returned in reduced form. The machines will get better processing power if more machines are added like this.

Why should enterprises use Automic rather than Hadoop on its own for free:

  • Automic can be considered as a standalone scalable platform.
  • It is one of the special integration which has more than fifty different ITOM which are industry leading, enterprise application, and middleware.
  • It will free 90% or even more of the operational activities by freeing mundane IT tasks and reducing routine.
  • It will do the repair for more than 90% by cutting mean time.
  • Speed and service quality will also be improved more than 80% by this.
  • It will optimize the utilization of existing resources.
  • There will be only one centralized audit trial which will be preserved for process improvement and compliance.

How can enterprises exploit Hadoop to drive digital innovation?

It is agreed by all the organizations that the potential regarding business value for Hadoop is immense. It is true that in future the enterprises will use more volumes of unstructured and structured data for making the better decisions. To handle this next storm of big data the enterprises will require incorporating analytics into a model of agility. So, deploying, provisioning, testing and building will be run as a process which is automated.

The management of your business is going to be bit tricky. Automation by enabling interaction with the problems closely will increase the possibility of building the workflows which will include Hadoop like all the other IT services for the support of the digital innovation.
